A 1+1 contract was signed between the Portuguese specialist and the club. At the press conference held at the Hilton hotel, the chairman of Pakhtakor football club, Jakhongir Ortiqkhujaev, introduced the new head coach to the public.
Pakhtakor football club has set big goals for itself in 2025. Now it is on the agenda to create a competitive team not only in the Super League, but also in Asia, with a combination of young and experienced players. Therefore, the Portuguese coach Pedro Moreira was invited to lead the team.
He will lead Pakhtakor with his staff of assistants. For many years, Moreira worked as an assistant to Paulo Fonseca, who is currently at AC Milan, working together at Pacos, Porto, Braga, Shakhtar and Roma.
