The Brazilian player of Pakhtakor, Tiago Bezerra was recognized as the best player of Uzbekistan in 2018.
Also, he became the top scorer of the season, having scored 21 goals and having given 9 goal passes. The player, at the moment, is on vacation in Brazil, and the award for him was received by the sports director of club Jafar Irismetov.
After ceremony Tiago Bezerra commented on receiving an award:
- I am very happy. For all season I played many good matches. Though we also did not win the championship, we spent a good season and showed a beautiful game.
I am glad that won prizes on two nominations. Would like to thank all the partners who helped me with achievement of awards.
