The head of the mini-football teams Pakhtakor commented on the preparation of the club for the new season.
How is the preparation for the men‘s and women‘s mini-football teams?
- Now we are preparing for the new season, but the exact dates for the start of the Super League have not yet been determined. According to the federation, the games will begin in late March. Now we are preparing in the Yoshlik arena. The team trains six days a week and one day it‘s a day off. We acquired six new players. We must gather the management and put specific tasks for the upcoming season.
There are no newcomers to the women‘s team. Preparation goes well. Last year we played in the first league and won nine games, finishing third, this year we will play in the highest league of the women‘s championship. About the tasks of the women‘s team for the season will also be a meeting in the near future, but for now we are looking for players. We have an age limit, so that at least two players from 2001 year of birth must have played. The team we have with the first league is young, but I think we need players and experienced, too. Every day the team trains on the Federation field and in the "Yoshlik" arena.
Are you content the newcomers and how is their adaptation?
- The newcomers are well integrated into the team. Three players have compilations and they did not train with the team. They were involved in the team. Khazratkulov is now playing in the Asian Cup. Now we will all meet, and then, perhaps, invite the team a few more players.
Overall, are you satisfied with the preparation of the team?
- We started training on January 8. In principle, everything is going well, we are happy. If we will be stronger, we can claim the first places. We have a few more players in our plans.
What are your expectations before the start of the new season?
- There are not specific goals yet, but we plan to be in the top three. Now the management will put us tasks, and it is possible that this will be the championship. Now all the tasks are big, everyone should be at the highest places. Regardless of whether the women‘s or men‘s team we set ourselves the goal to become champions.
